{"id":11878,"date":"2015-11-16T04:48:14","date_gmt":"2015-11-16T04:48:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/new\/?p=11878"},"modified":"2018-02-05T05:06:06","modified_gmt":"2018-02-05T05:06:06","slug":"sincere-repentance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/?p=11878","title":{"rendered":"Sincere Repentance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hazrath Abdullah bin Umar <em>radiyallahu unhu<\/em> narrates that I heard the following incident from Rasullullah <em>sallallahu alaihi wasallam<\/em>, not only once or twice, rather more than seven times: \u201cAmongst the Bani Israeel there was a person by the name of Kifl, who was constantly involved in sin. A woman once approached him and he offered her 60 dinars (gold coins) to allow him to commit adultery with her. She acceded to his request but as he was to about to approach her she broke out into tears and began shivering. He asked: \u201cWhy are you crying? Did I coerce you into this?\u201d She replied: \u201cNo! There was absolutely no coercion but this is such a crime that I haven\u2019t ever come close to it in my entire life.\u201d Currently I am going through financial constraints due to which I accepted your request.\u201d On hearing this he moved away immediately and then told her: \u201cYou can leave and take those 60 dinars as well. From now onwards Kifl also will not commit any sin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Coincidently he passed away that very night. The next morning this statement was divinely inscribed on his door: <em>\u201cGhafarallahu Lil Kifl\u201d<\/em> &#8211; Allah has forgiven Kifl.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(<em>Musnad Ahmad, vol: 8, pg: 369)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lesson<\/strong>: The mercy of Allah Ta\u2019ala is beyond any limits.
