{"id":11949,"date":"2015-11-17T04:33:57","date_gmt":"2015-11-17T04:33:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/new\/?p=11949"},"modified":"2018-02-08T05:19:53","modified_gmt":"2018-02-08T05:19:53","slug":"seeing-may-be-deceiving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/?p=11949","title":{"rendered":"Seeing may be Deceiving!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Qaasim (radhiyallahu \u2018anhu), the son of Nabi (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) passed away in infancy whilst still being suckled by his mother Sayyidah Khadeejah (radiyallahu \u2018anha). Due to her natural motherly love and compassion for her child she said to Nabi (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam): \u201cMy bosom is still filled with milk for him. How nice it would have been if he was first weaned off before passing away.\u201d To console her Nabi (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) replied: \u201cArrangements for his breastfeeding have been made in Jannah.\u201d Khadeejah (radiyallahu \u2018anha) said: \u201cI was unaware of that.\u201d Nabi (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) mentioned: \u201cIf you so wish, I will supplicate to Allah Ta\u2018ala who will make it possible for you to hear Qaasim\u2019s voice.\u201d At this she replied: \u201cThere is no need for that, for I have (more) conviction in what Allah Ta\u2018ala and his Rasool (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) have mentioned (than in what I perceive through my senses).\u201d (Sunan Ibni Maajah #1512)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lesson:<\/strong> The only safe option for a blind person is to follow one who can see. In terms of the Aakhirah, and with regard to what is the route to success in this world and the next, we are all blind and Rasulullah (sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam) is the one who can see. Therefore we should \u201cblindly\u201d follow in his footsteps and be one hundred percent convinced that what he has said is the reality.
