This is clearly stated in the Qur&#8217;an:<em><strong> \u201cAnd We have not sent You but as a mercy for the world\u201d<\/strong><\/em> <strong>(Surah Ambiyaa)<\/strong>. Therefore, the <em>sunnah<\/em>, the way of life and teachings of Rasulullah <em>(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)<\/em> are guaranteed to be a mercy and a means happiness, peace, joy and contentment, although at times we may not be able to comprehend all the benefits and wisdom therein.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nabi <em>(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)<\/em>, out of his deep love, care, concern and compassion for us, has explained which of our actions are good for us and which are a source of ruin and deprivation. Among the things which Rasulullah <em>(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)<\/em> sounded stern warnings against it, yet there is widespread involvement in it, is photography. Photography and picture making draw the wrath of Allah Ta&#8217;ala and are a means of deprivation from the rahmat of Allah Ta&#8217;ala and the company of angels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nabi <em>(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)<\/em> has mentioned, <strong><em>\u201cThe severest punishment in the hereafter will be meted out on those who made or took (animate) pictures\u201d<\/em><\/strong>. <strong>(Bukhaari)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nabi <em>(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)<\/em> refused to enter the home of his most beloved wife, Aisha <em>(Radiyallahu Anha)<\/em>because of some pillows upon which there were pictures. <strong>(Bukhaari)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In one narration, Hadhrat Aisha <em>(Radiyallahu Anha)<\/em> \u00a0added that the noble countenance of Nabi <em>(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)<\/em> changed out of displeasure. <strong>(Targheeb)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nabi <em>(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)<\/em> would send Sahaabah <em>(Radiyallahu Anhum)<\/em> to destroy pictures. <strong>(Abu Dawood)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">We should carefully contemplate before snapping our next picture with our cameras, cellphones, etc., as to whether we have earned the pleasure of Rasulullah <em>(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)<\/em> or his displeasure?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-12902","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-general"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/12902","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=12902"}],"version-history":[{"count":6,"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/12902\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":22066,"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/12902\/revisions\/22066"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=12902"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=12902"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alhaadi.org.za\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=12902"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
