Initially Hazratjee Moulana Maseehullah Khan Saheb (rahmatullahi \u2018alaih) would write out a ta\u2019weez if someone requested him to do so. Later on in life he stopped this practice completely. If someone persisted that he desperately needs a ta\u2019weez, Hazratjee (rahmatullahi \u2018alaih) would then send him to someone else.<\/p>\n
However, Hazratjee (rahmatullahi \u2018alaih) had kept one ta\u2019weez which he would give for labour pains and easy childbirth. Many people would come to borrow it from him. He would say to them, \u201cTie this ta\u2019weez on the left thigh and after the child is born, return the ta\u2019weez to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
The reason for him stopping this practice was that once a person came to him for a ta\u2019weez. Allah Ta\u2018ala desired that the work should not be accomplished and so it happened. This person was furious. He came back to Hazratjee (rahmatullahi \u2018alaih) and shouted \u201cI took a ta\u2019weez from you and still my work was not accomplished. Is there no effect anymore in the words of Allah Ta\u2018ala?\u201d<\/p>\n
May Allah Ta\u2018ala protect us! He felt that the ta\u2019weez will take charge of his affairs whereas everything is subservient to the command and will of Allah Ta\u2018ala. If Allah Ta\u2018ala wills for something to happen it will happen and if he wishes it not to happen it will never happen. It is not necessary that if you have a ta\u2019weez for something, it must work in your favour.<\/p>\n
