Allah Ta’ala has created different levels of life. At the most basis level we have bacteria which merely feed and reproduce. Above this level is the ant and the honey bee. They together with feeding and reproducing have some social interaction. On a more advanced level are the dolphin and the monkey. They feed, reproduce, interact and also posses a degree of reasoning and rationality. At the highest level is the human being. His intelligence is a special bounty of Allah Ta’ala that has distinguished him from the rest of the creation.
However, from the point where all intelligence ends, spirituality only begins. Where the combined I.Q of the entire mankind ends, the loftiness of our divine Deen only begins.
