Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: “(Giving)Sadaqah does not decrease (one’s) wealth, Allah Ta’ala will most certainly increase the honour of one who forgives and there is none who humbles himself for the sake of Allah Ta’ala except that Allah Ta’ala will elevate him (in status).”
