The Virtue of the Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah
Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (radiyallahu unhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said, “No action performed in any day is more virtuous than the deeds performed during these (ten days of Dhul Hijjah)”. Thawaab Equivalent to that of Laylatul Qadr
Hazrat Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu unhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said, “There are no days more beloved to Allah Ta’ala that he be worshipped in than the ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Fasting on one of these days (excluding the tenth) is equivalent to the fasting of an entire year and spending one of these nights in the ‘ibaadah of Allah Ta’ala is equivalent to spending the night of Qadr in ’ibaadah.”
