As a child, Hazratjee Moulana Maseehullah Khan Saheb (rahmatullahi ‘alaih) never missed his salaah with jamaat. He would always be in the musjid and was very particular about performing every salaah with jamaat. Together with this he was very enthusiastic to perform nafl salaah and spend his time in the musjid reciting the Quraan Majeed and making zikr. He was punctual with his Tahajjud Salaah from childhood and would spend long hours making zikr and engaging in fervent du‘aa to Allah Ta‘ala. He would also keep nafl fasts in abundance. When he became baaligh he would often call out the azaan in the local musjid and perform the salaah. If perchance Hazratjee was delayed for some reason, the musallis would wait for him to arrive and then only would they commence the salaah.
