لا يكون المؤمن مؤمنا حتى يرضى لأخيه ما يرضى لنفسه
One will not be a true believer until he wishes for his brother that which he wishes for himself.
Hazrat Shaikh Moulana Muhammad Zakariyya (rahmatullahi ‘alaih) once quoted the above hadeeth and thereafter explained: If one has to practise on this hadeeth and inculcate its teaching in his life, then all internal disputes and arguments will come to an end. However, when we wish to receive more while we wish for others to receive less, then how can these quarrels ever be resolved? (Suhbat Baa Awliyaa pg. 96)
