Money which was in someone’s pocket yesterday is in our pocket today. It will be in someone else’s pocket tomorrow. This is the reality of money. It belongs to no one. It simply moves from pocket to pocket, only by the will of Allah Ta‘ala. What is destined to come into our pocket, will never go into someone else’s pocket. Likewise that which goes into the pockets of others was never meant for our pocket. The one that has forgotten the object of his life gets caught up in the pocket-game. Day and night he is plotting and planning on how to empty the pockets of others. He has forgotten that his white kafan is pocket-less.
