The Secret to a Comfortable Life
Hadhrat Anas (radhiyallahu anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever makes his purpose (of life) the seeking of the aakhirah, Allah Ta’ala will grant him contentment of heart, arrange all his affairs and the world will come to him in disgrace. And whoever makes the aim (of his life) amassing the world, Allah Ta’ala will make poverty hover above him (i.e. despite his wealth he will be constantly afraid of becoming poor), disarray his affairs and he will only get that (of the world) which was destined for him”.
